YEAC Celebrates Successful Graduation of MSAs in Access to Finance Program!
On December 30, 2024, Young Entrepreneurs Association of Cambodia (YEAC) held the graduation ceremony of 42 Micro and Small Agri Business (MSAs) (21 women-led businesses) who have completed the capacity building program. This program is supported by USAID through FEED The FUTURE – Harvest III.
Through intensive training, mentorship, and networking events, these entrepreneurs gained confidence and are now better positioned to grow their businesses. Access to Finance, a total of 13 entrepreneurs and business owners received a total financing of US $ 1,793,060 (US $ 1,235,060 from banks and US $ 558,000 from investors) by December 2024.
At the graduation ceremony, Mrs. Ith Kallyan, Deputy Chief of Party of the Harvest III project, expressed her deep appreciation for YEAC and the team’s outstanding performance in achieving all program milestones. She emphasized that this was the first grant Harvest III directly provided to an association, and the initial results have been highly encouraging. Mrs. Kallyan observed that channeling funding through an association like YEAC has proven to be an effective way to reach and impact numerous MSAs. Mrs. Kallyan highlighted the strong synergy and further indicated her intention to explore further collaboration/partner with YEAC to maximize the positive impact on MSAs.”

Why Invest Siem Reap?
Government Incentives and Favorable Investment Climate

Cambodia offers 100% foreign ownership in most sectors, along with tax holidays and duty-free imports of capital goods, making it an investor-friendly destination. Siem Reap’s real estate market is particularly promising, with rental yields for Western-style villas ranging from 7-9% and sales profits reaching 20-30%. Additionally, the government’s focus on sustainable tourism and infrastructure development ensures long-term growth potential, making Siem Reap a strategic choice for investors seeking stable returns.
Infrastructure Development Enhancing Accessibility

Significant infrastructure upgrades, such as the $60 million road expansion and the new international airport, are transforming Siem Reap into a more accessible and attractive destination. The city is also embracing sustainable initiatives like electric buses and green building projects, aligning with global trends in eco-friendly development. These improvements not only enhance connectivity but also increase property values, making Siem Reap a prime location for real estate and commercial investments.
Thriving Tourism Sector with Steady Growth

Siem Reap is home to Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage site, which attracts millions of tourists annually. In 2023, Angkor Wat welcomed over 2.64 million visitors, generating $37.19 million in ticket sales alone. The city’s new Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport, opened in 2023, is expected to further boost tourist arrivals, with Cambodia targeting 7.5 million international tourists in 2025. This steady influx of tourists creates a robust demand for hospitality, retail, and real estate investment, offering lucrative opportunities for investors.
